It’s hot in the south so what better way to cool of than by going to Blue Bayou Water Park? This huge waterpark has multiple water attractions that will give you a thrill. Is that not enough? After splashing in the sun, head to Dixie Landin’! The amusement park portion of the park. This day of adventure–sounds like the perfect day to us! And if you want to live near all the action, you’re in luck! Our Bellemont Victoria II community is just a short drive away from the fun! Another fun place to visit in the capitol is the BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo! This zoo has been open for almost 50 years with over 800 animals to see and learn about! Of course adventure awaits you in Baton Rouge! Just like you see in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog– Louisiana does have bayous! Baton Rouge particularly offers multiple tours to check them out! Did you know there is a castle in Baton Rouge? The Old State Capitol building, now a museum, was attacked and set on fire by the Union Army in the Civil War. After it was repaired, it became the capitol building until 1932. Now you can go and see all of the history that lies within Baton Rouge.
